Afghanistan molested two Ukrainian refugee children

An Afghan immigrant, who worked as a security guard at a German asylum, is accused of molesting two children of Ukrainian refugees, aged 6 and 7.

The abuse allegations were alleged to have taken place in an asylum in the village of Meßstetten in Baden-Württemberg.

The two alleged victims, six and seven-year-old girls, reported allegations of sexual abuse, including inappropriate sexual contact and harassment, to their mother, who reported the Afghans to the home’s security officer. He was arrested and presented to the local magistrate on Tuesday, broadcaster SWR. report.

The asylum camp in Meßstetten has been hosting refugees from conflicts in Ukraine since March.

Tübingen regional president Klaus Tappeser commented on the sexual assault allegations, claiming that the accused Afghans had been fired and that he could no longer access asylum facilities.

He added that it would provide psychological support to mothers and children.

Last weekend in Austria, a 19-year-old Syrian asylum seeker was accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old Ukrainian refugee girl in the village of Weyer. Local police arrested the Syrian, but he was later released and transferred to another shelter.

The populist Austrian Liberal Party (FPÖ) opposes allowing these migrants to remain in general, calling it a scandal.

There are other reports of Ukrainian women being sexually abused after the Russian invasion of Ukraine broke out and millions of Ukrainian refugees migrated to Europe.

In March, an 18-year-old Ukrainian woman was allegedly raped by Iraqi and Nigerian men in an migrant camp in Düsseldorf. The accident is said to have occurred on a ship used as a refugee camp.

Both men involved are known to be from Nigeria and Iraq, but they also hold Ukrainian passports.
