According to the latest blog post from @LeaksApplePro who at iDrop News Here’s a closer look at what Apple will be revealing at its September event, which is expected to be the next big thing after WWDC next month.

We’ll talk about the iPhone 14, as well as details about the upcoming Pro iPhone and Apple Watch Series 8.

However, the author left the biggest advantage of the AirPods Pro 2, saying, “The AirPods Pro 2 will be the biggest innovation in wireless earbuds since the original AirPods launched in 2016.”

Well, it’s quite something.

The biggest reason we love the new earbuds is the lossless audio support, and rumored to be there are other details here as well. -Cancellation technique.”

The new design is interesting and coincides with other leaks suggesting that Apple is eager to get rid of the stem sticking out of the ear.

It’s unclear if the new earbuds will be announced at the September event, and the author claims that it will depend on whether the event is online or offline. As Apple routinely does with in-person keynotes, it’s unclear whether the given reason for online offering features for multiple events in the coming months is justified. But we will see.

More from ForbesThe Apple iPhone 13 suddenly ran into a new “very nasty” problem, an insider said.

Meanwhile, AirPods Pro 1 was released on a small scale through press releases and behind-the-scenes events, so it is highly likely that AirPods Pro 2 will be released in a similar way.

Rumors that Apple may use USB-C instead of Lightning on the AirPods Pro 2 are also confirmed here, and you can read why they think it will be here. According to @LeaksApplePro claims, prototypes using USB-C exist.

And there is bad news.

The last line of the report reads: “It’s available in white and costs about $299.”

The color is a bit surprising, but oh my, what’s the price? That’s $50 more than the AirPods Pro. When Apple released the 3rd generation of AirPods, they cost $179 with a wireless charging case, $20 less than the 2nd generation with a wireless charging case (previously more expensive than the 2nd generation model without wireless charging). So I’m a little surprised at the idea that Apple will raise the price by $50.

There are also reports that now the price of the second-generation AirPods has dropped to $129, and sales of the latest version are not as strong as customers voting for the cheaper AirPods.

Of course, the buyer’s dilemma doesn’t apply, as Apple will likely not put its current AirPods Pro in that range when the next model launches. Instead, customers choose between the second and third-generation models of AirPods, the over-ear AirPods Max and the new AirPods Pro 2.

More details as they come out.
