AMD Computex 2022 Keynote Liveblog: What’s New from Taipei Team Red

Hello Hello hello! My name is John Loeffler, American Computing Editor at TechRadar in New York. We are AMD CEO Dr. We’re getting ready to kick off Computex 2022 with Lisa Su’s AMD Computex 2022 keynote.

What is it? why, yes it is 1:00 a.m. daylight saving time in the eastern United States. It’s all about dedication. We’re committed to keeping you up to date with Computex 2022, so stay tuned for TechRadar throughout the week as we feature keynotes and presentations from AMD, Nvidia and more as part of our ongoing Computex 2022 coverage.

So, what can we expect from AMD’s keynote, which is set to kick off less than an hour from now?

With the launch of AMD’s latest Radeon graphics cards, the RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT, we may hear rumors about the next generation of Radeon, AMD RDNA 3.

With the new AMD Ryzen 6000 series laptops starting to hit the market, you’ll probably be hearing about AMD’s mobile platforms. How much of this will be consumer products and how many will be expert systems remains open.

What about AMD Ryzen processors? We’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about Zen 4 lately, so we wouldn’t be surprised to hear an update about the next-gen Ryzen 7000 series CPUs.

This is Computex, so there could be some discussion of AMD Epyc servers and cloud computing tech, and hopefully we’ll see some weird talk about AMD’s 3D chiplet stacking tech like the ones we saw in our AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D review.
