After researching the internet, the outlet found several listings of used bracelets in the sensational Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard defamation trial.
The former couple met in court in Fairfax County, Virginia.
The media site also found that few sellers were selling laminated versions of paper bracelets with almost four digits.
For example, the seller is looking for around $850 for one of the bracelets he has used since the 23rd day of the trial. The price tag is much more expensive than buying a single Coachella bracelet.
Nevertheless, at the trial on May 26, the wristband was higher than the other days. This is the day Amber Heard once again made a statement. The actress babbled as she recounted the abuse and death threats she received at her hands from Johnny Depp.
Clips of the day went viral on TikTok and other social media sites. Her users made her the subject of her memes shortly after her trials across her platforms.
Most sellers are trying to entice buyers with an ‘epic trial’. They are also using the ‘piece of history’ angle to attract more customers.
All bracelets listed are referred to as ‘normal’. Current band prices range from $50 to $4,999.
Sellers claim the bracelet is a ‘great souvenir’ to witness Depp and his attorney Camille Vasquez first-hand in a court case.
