The Belgian playmaker scored three goals for the first time in the Premier League and scored all three with an inferior foot.
He took the lead in the seventh minute by beating Jose Sa and scoring with a low finish, reclaiming City’s lead after Leander Dendonker equalized in the 16th inning.
But after that, De Bruyne went through an unstoppable effort past Sa, completing the third-fastest hat-trick in Premier League history in great style.
The 30-year-old, who didn’t do it there, buried his right arm a quarter to time the clock.

De Bruyne mainly uses his right foot, but for many people the other foot is for standing, while the former Wolfsburger is equally effective.
He swung the world left-footed against Chelsea, Leicester, Tottenham, Arsenal, Borussia Monchengladbach and Liverpool.
How does he get his two feet so good? Well, it all goes back to when De Bruyne was young.

According to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur, Genk youth products were banned from using natural feet by a neighbor after destroying pots and flowers in the garden.
It definitely worked and De Bruyne, who is having a top-scoring season in a city shirt, is world-class on both feet.
De Bruyne’s left-footed masterclass was a tribute to the club that signed Erling Haaland, who is hitting a huge strike, for £51m.
He celebrated with a yoga-style celebration in Haaland after finishing third at Molineux.
Did the player deserve a 5 star weaker foot than De Bruyne? City’s No.17 is a world-class operator who has either one of them, and he regularly performs at critical moments for his team.
