Bill Burr’s opinion on abortion has internet division.

The internet is divided over the recent routine of comedian Bill Burr questioning the morality of abortion.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Bill Burr compares an abortion to ruining a cake.

Bill Burr has always been a rather controversial standup comedian. Again, he joked about abortion in the recent Netflix comedy special Bill Burr: Live at Red Rocks.

‘Everyone has an opinion,’ Burr said. So am I. And I apologize for having to listen to you. I have some really weird ideas about abortion because I’m going to say it right now.’

He went on to say, ‘I was 100% in favor of the choice and always have been. Chin choices always meant something to me because I don’t like people telling me what to do. I just did it, it’s your body. Who I am and I tell you what to do with your body.”

Then the 54-year-old actor said, ‘But I still think you’re killing the baby. see? That’s where it gets weird.’

Then Burr said he understood the subject while sitting on the fence.

Then he likens abortion to the process of making a cake.

He said, ‘It’s like I make a cake. Pour a little dough into the pan. And put it in the oven. And five minutes later, you come, grab the pan and throw it on the floor.’

Burr explains further. ‘ And I said, “What is that?” I just ruined my birthday cake. “It wasn’t a cake yet.”

Then he pointed out: ‘Well, it would have been. If I hadn’t just done what I was doing, it would have been a cake in 50 minutes. What happened to the cake, son of ab**** that kills the cake!”’

Netizens react to Bill Burr’s joke about abortion

Internet users are divided over whether they will laugh at Bill Burr’s ludicrous metaphor or cause outrage.

One user said, ‘It’s such a complex topic. There are too many moving parts.’

He continued, ‘This is my question. Killing a pregnant woman is double murder. Would she commit even a single murder if she was on her way to having her abortion?’

Burr joked a lot with both conservatives and liberals. He also advocated abortion as a way to control overpopulation.

He once said, ‘There are 7 billion of us! please. Don’t bring it here anymore.’
