Toby Keith gave fans brief updates on his health and other medical issues via his official Instagram and Twitter pages.
‘Last fall, I was diagnosed with stomach cancer,’ the award-winning musician, 60, said. I have had chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery in the past 6 months. So far it’s been fine. I need time to breathe, recover and relax.’

He continued, “I look forward to the day I can spend this time with my family. But sooner or later we will meet our fans. I can’t wait.’

Updates on Toby Keith’s upcoming musical events
The status of Toby Keith’s upcoming gigs for the rest of the year is still unclear.
However, his website confirmed that Keith’s next gig will take place on June 17th in Wheaton, Illinois.
Nevertheless, the Ohio State Fair announced that the artist’s concert scheduled for June 28 in Columbus, Ohio has been canceled.
The musician’s publicist Elaine Schock confirmed in an email Sunday night that some of her tour dates would be cancelled, but ‘I’m not sure how many at this time.’

Keith has been undergoing treatment for stomach cancer since last fall. Therefore, it is unclear whether additional performances on his tour will be rescheduled or postponed.
Keith recently announced that she will be hosting a new concert at Coachella Crossroads in California in November 2022. However, it is unclear whether the show will continue after his announcement.
