Demi Lovato turned 30 a few days ago on August 20th. But before she reached her new milestone, the singer sat down with the Alternative Press and recalled her 20s.

She reflected more deeply as she spoke candidly about her life during those ten years. The interview was released on August 22nd.

Also, in an interview, Sorry Not Sorry Artist expressed regret about putting her life story on the screen.

‘To be honest, I’m so tired of seeing myself, and I think other people will too,’ she said.

‘If not, you can watch my music video,’ she added.

Heart Attack hitmaker commented, ‘I wish I had waited until I found out more because it’s hardened now’.

She also insisted, ‘Only sobriety works for me and nothing else’.

Lovato went on to say, ‘My story is not over. So, by the time he writes the book, he wants to be able to say, “Okay, this is what I’m grown up to be,” he said.

The 30-year-old former Disney star is currently gearing up for the release of her eighth studio album, titled ‘Holy Fvck’.

She added, ‘I’m in a new chapter in my life. I want my music to reflect that.’

Nevertheless, the Skyscraper singer most recently released a documentary series called Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil in 2021.

The documentary covered Lovato’s nearly fatal drug overdose in 2018. She suffered a heart attack, multiple strokes and brain damage during the incident.

Moreover, the ultra-low film covered the events that caused Lovato to develop serious medical problems.

Nevertheless, they shared a path to recovery after she gave up the drugs and went into rehab.

The series detailed the different traumas and events the pop star went through. It also includes a time when she was sexually assaulted during her teenage years.
