Doja Cat confused fans about the new album update by sharing a series of messages on Twitter on Tuesday night, September 20th.

On September 13th, Dojacat, who sat with the CR Fashion Book, became controversial after showing an unexpected reaction.

During an interview, rapper Kiss Me More was asked about her next project. She has a 90’s German rave vibe.’

However, Dojacat recently clarified in his tweet, ‘I don’t do German rave culture albums’. I was joking around the outlet who interviewed me about it. I’m doing R&B album Straight R&B no rap.’

Nevertheless, after a while she once again shared her thoughts on social media platforms.

She also said, ‘I was lying. I’m making an experimental jazz album.’

She also said ‘jk its r&b’ in a follow-up message.

She went on to say, ‘I’ll rap about it. But there is only one rap passage here and it will be eight bars.’

Doja Cat wrote a few more tweets before ending the prank by sharing the truth about her new project.

According to her message, the 26-year-old artist is working on a rock album that will include ‘Emo Jam’. She also mentioned that the album was titled ‘Rock Out Volume 1 The Abyss 5000’.

Doja Cat criticized fans for not thinking of her as a rapper.

Doja Cat has been fighting some fans for quite some time. They don’t consider her a rapper because she incorporates a lot of R&B into her projects.

But that seems to have been enough when the California native responded to an interview with Rolling Stone last December.

‘Anyone who says I’m not a rapper is a denial,’ she said.
