Since Urban Meyer took up attacking at OSU, Ryan Day has worked with some of the best quarterbacks in the sport over the past four years, from Dwayne Haskins to Justin Fields, CJ Stroud, Kyle McCord and Devin Brown.

And that’s not to admit that Joe Burrow, Jack Miller and Quinn Ewers were Buckeyes before they became Tiger, Gator and Longhorn respectively. What’s more, Haskins was so good when Day picked him up for his first job in 2018, so Buckeyes fans weren’t upset that Burrow later made up one of the college quarterback’s best seasons.

For decades, the Buckeyes offense has taken pride in his ability to throw the ball. Now the Buckeyes toss the ball all over the yard and the attacking skill players take notice.

Although the NFL, which picked up a pair of Buckeyes receivers in the first round for the first time since 2007, has recognized and acknowledged aerial attacks at the college level, Day was selected as a Heisman finalist and selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.
