Early voting wins Preakness Stakes.

Early voting put Epicenter on hold in the final stretch to catch the 147th run of Preakness Stakes taking place on Saturday.

Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike skipped the race. He started out with rail skimming and stretch running to win with 80-1 odds, making his all-in-one trainer, jockey and owner Eric Reed, Sonny Leon and Rick Dawson an overnight sensation.

However, Dawson and Rich Strike decided they needed more than two weeks of rest and decided to skip Preakness to play for the Belmont Stakes on June 11th.
