An annoying rumor floating around the Internet recently is that famous actor Tom Selleck has passed away.
Some fans are starting to believe the claim that the Hollywood icon has passed away in a number of widely shared posts on Twitter.
Many celebrities, including Tom, have been the targets of such unfounded rumors.
Tom Selleck is still alive
This scam was created by a YouTube channel known for spreading false information about celebrity deaths.
This channel, which has more than 22,800 members, released a video on July 26th with the caption, “10 minutes ago/ RIP Tom Selleck/He died of severe incurable cancer/ Goodbye Tom Selleck”.
The claim is not supported by evidence and the actor’s last name is misspelled.
His career is the only one described. His fake death is excluded. The channel has been criticized for commenting that it fabricated false articles about celebrities solely to gain attention.
Is it true? Is Tom Selleck dead? 🙁

The same station also revealed that Chuck Norris died today. This is as absurd as a scam about Tom’s death.
But Tom is undoubtedly still alive and healthy in 2022.
He is currently playing NYPD Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in the CBS drama Blue Bloods. In October 2022, the popular show returns for season 13.
The outrageous rumors made fans worried about Tom Selleck.
They call it sickness or clickbait, but recently, there have been a lot of groundless rumors that a celebrity died without dying, causing fans to worry.
Tom Holland, Snoop Dogg, Shane Dawson and Will Smith are other well-known figures who became victims of death scams.
There are BS stories on YouTube with Tom Selleck going around, but apparently he’s alive and kicking, 77 years old.

I just cried. A worried viewer wrote below the video. Is this true or a lie? The reason they say this is beyond me. Is it true?
