Fans once again poured out their anger at HYBE. Idol group SEVENTEEN announced a live performance BE THE SUN. The concert will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on June 25 and 26, 2022.
Unfortunately, when ticketing rules and guidelines were made public, fans found a lack of information and consideration for wheelchair users.
Ticketing is the battlefield for the most popular concerts, including Seventeen. Users can purchase only one ticket per day, and fan club members are given priority to enter. For Korean performances, it is standard procedure to designate a special space or seat for a person in a wheelchair and have a guardian sit in the seat next to him. BE THE SUN did not provide any regulations for wheelchair supporters. When asked about the procedure, the company issued a commentary.

Fans rebuked HYBE for not accommodating audiences in wheelchairs at the next Seventeen concert.
The agency expressed its position in response to fans’ criticism and questions about the rules.
According to the statement, all spectators must reserve a ticket through online reservation, and if you require a wheelchair seat, please call the customer center after making a reservation and we will replace it with a wheelchair seat. The same standards apply to companions, but we will prepare to make it as convenient as possible even without a companion. Staff will assist you upon entry and exit. Staff in the venue will also approach you to avoid any inconvenience.
Wheelchair users can purchase tickets through a ticketing agent.
Pledis Entertainment noted that all concertgoers must use online reservations to purchase tickets, but those in wheelchairs can purchase wheelchair seats through ticketing agents. Guardians will be accommodated, but staff will be on-site to assist attendees at the music venue, even without guardians, the label explained.
However, fans suspect that guardians of visitors in wheelchairs will be able to get tickets. “My wheelchair-bound daughter is a favorite of her HYBE label colleagues,” one mother said. It is not that Gocheok Dome is not wheelchair accessible. I don’t know why you have to be so picky about running this perfectly fine seat.”
Some fans criticized the agency, while others gave mixed reactions to the company’s overall operation.
According to one fan, Hybe messes everything up. “TOMORROW X TOGETHER concert? There is a lack of large venues.
Seventeen show? Fans in wheelchairs as well as accompanying fans must purchase tickets, otherwise there is a risk of ticket cancellation.”
Hybe ruins everything… A TXT concert? A large place is not enough.

Dispatch told other fans that they are investigating the other side of KBS’s ‘Music Bank’, the inability to choose a wheelchair for 17 performances, and the apparent anger of fans. Currently, Garam is taking a break from activities. “Hybe doesn’t get along well with the current management, so he needs an astrologer or something. lol”
KBS ‘Music Bank’ Reseraphim sheet music, the situation without a wheelchair at the 17th performance, fans’ obvious backlash, Garam, etc… Hybe needs an astrologer or something, but the current management is not doing well. Ha ha ha

Another person said that the reason it was obviously related to the hybe was that svt had no problems with the wheelchair chair before the takeover. The fact that the problem appeared after the acquisition shows how it is connected to the acquiring company.
The reason it’s clearly related to hybe is that svt had never had problems with wheelchair seats prior to the takeover. The fact that problems only occurred after the acquisition shows how it relates to the acquiring company.
