Founder of Terra, Do-kyung Kwon, Arrested Cryptocurrency Investor and Influencer for Visiting Apartment

An unknown person who visited Terraform Labs founder Kwon Do was identified and arrested.

  • According to BBC News reportAn AfreecaTV streamer named “Chancers” was a desperate man who knocked on the house of a controversial executive earlier this month.
  • The social media personality has amassed considerable wealth after entering the digital asset space in 2017.
  • Chancers invested $800,000 in LUNA. Since the recent crash, he has lost about $2.4 million.
  • He quoted:

“I thought I was going to die. I lost a lot of money in a short time. About $2.4 million (£1.9 million) of my cryptocurrency has disappeared. Here in Korea, financially, I’m in the top 1%. But thanks to that accident, I am now in trouble.

  • As previously reported, South Korean police were trying to determine the identity of the person who visited Kwon’s apartment on Thursday, May 12 and asked where his wife was.
  • When Kwon’s wife demanded protection, media reports began to circulate that the police were looking for uninvited guests.
  • The next day, Chances voluntarily committed himself to the Seoul Police Station.
  • The streamer revealed that he had visited Kwon’s house and even broadcast the entire episode live to nearly 100 people via a streaming platform.
  • The downfall of Terra LUNA has been engraved as a nightmare for cryptocurrency investors, and it’s one of the more recent examples of people doing desperate things.
