Glenda Cleveland is a US citizen who lived with her 17-year-old daughter Sandra Smith and worked in a data entry location in the City of Milwaukee. She lived in an adjacent building, and in fact, Dahmer’s real neighbor was another black woman named Pamela Bass.
Cleveland wasn’t there when her daughter and nephew discovered Sinthasomphone. She tried to contact authorities several times, but she was informed that she would not investigate Dahmer. Cleveland can now be heard in an infamous phone conversation asking a police officer if he wants to investigate Dahmer.
Cleveland: “Yeah, uh, what happened? I mean my daughter and nephew witnessed what was going on. Did you do anything about the situation? Do you need their names or information or anything from them?”
Bass said Dahmer would serve the sandwich, she told Jeffery Dahmer Files interviewers. However, in the show, Bass appears to have been partially erased, and elements of her personality appear to have been written into Cleveland’s character.
Where is Glenda Cleveland now?
We don’t know where Glenda Cleveland is today. She may have moved from there. According to sources, after Dahmer’s arrest, she lived in an apartment on 25th Street until 2009, then moved to an apartment less than a mile from there.
According to USA Today, Glenda Cleveland was one of nine children and she was raised on a farm by her parents who always emphasize telling the truth and helping others.
In the show called The Jeffery Dahmer Files, it looks like Bass is partially erased and some of her traits are written into Cleveland’s character.
