After I/O 2022, Google Quietly Releases Android 13 Beta 2 for TV This results in new features and changes in quality of life (QoL).
The new beta is currently only available as a way for Android developers to test their apps on the OS and provide feedback on them. However, most, if not all, of the listed features are likely to be applied to smart TVs in the future.
A central theme in this new Android 13 beta for TV is increasing customization options, allowing users to adjust how they interact with the platform. A key new feature is Picture-in-Picture (PIP), which docks the show to the side of the screen while navigating the Smart TV menu. The idea is to allow people with big TVs to get the most out of their screens and improve their multitasking.

Google is releasing Android 13 beta for TV very quickly. Beta 1 release May 6th, less than a week away. again, It was for developers only Where I was able to test if the app was compatible with the OS and how the audio was routed.
