Hailey Bieber tells fans about husband Justin Bieber’s facial paralysis ‘He’s doing really well’

Justin Bieber previously revealed on Instagram that he suffers from Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which paralyzes one side of his face.

After husband Justin Bieber admitted to having facial paralysis, Hailey Bieber shared with fans what’s going on. Due to the illness, Justin Bieber couldn’t smile properly and blink in one of his eyes. He later said that ‘it got better every day.’ His wife, Haley, 25, shared news about the Grammy Award winner’s health in an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America.

On this day’s broadcast, when asked about her husband’s recent health problems, Haley said, “I’m doing very well. He is improving day by day. He’s doing a lot better.” She said in an interview, “Obviously something really terrible and strange has happened, but he will be fine and I’m just thankful that he’s okay.” He described the reaction from fans and loved ones as “really fantastic”.

What is Ramsay Hunt Syndrome?

Reactivation of the virus that causes chickenpox in children causes inflammation and irritation of the facial nerve. According to the National Organization for Rare Diseases, Ramsay Hunt syndrome has occurred. It’s not clear what causes the virus to react, but it’s thought to be caused by a weakened immune system. This can also be caused by stress.

Symptoms include facial paralysis, difficulty closing eyes, hearing loss, and problems with facial emotions. Most patients regain full range of motion within a few weeks or months. However, in other cases, movement may be permanently reduced. Treatment includes antiviral drugs and steroids. Some doctors may also recommend facial exercises. However, there is not much evidence that this works. According to the organization, the disease affects about 5 in 100,000 Americans each year.

Justin’s health problems come following surgery to plug a hole in her heart after Haley was admitted to the hospital with “stroke-like symptoms” earlier this year. When asked about her health, Haley said, “I had surgery to close this hole in my heart and I’m taking time for my body to rest and recover.” Rhode, a model who recently started her own skincare line, says she’s feeling a lot better now and is thankful she’s off her meds.
