Hailey Bieber wins right to name Rhode in trademark dispute

While Hailey Bieber was preparing to launch a skincare line called Rhode, she was sued for trademark infringement by the Los Angeles-based clothing company of the same name.

In a lawsuit, the founder of the eight-year-old company argued that two companies with similar names could confuse consumers.

They recently launched a series of household items on their official website. In addition, their designs have been worn by several A-list celebrities such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Tracee Ellis Ross, Khloé Kardashian, Zoey Deutch and more.

Nevertheless, Bieber and her legal team insisted that their venture was entirely focused on skincare and not clothes. They said this would eliminate the risk of confusion among the public.

Moreover, on Friday, a federal judge sided with the 25-year-old model. The court also rejected the apparel company’s request for a preliminary injunction in an attempt to block Bieber’s new business venture.

The Road Skin was released on June 15th. It has been described as cheap and not brutal.

Hailey Bieber spoke candidly about her beauty line, Rhode, in a YouTube video.

Hailey Bieber released a new documentary video titled Making of Rhodes shortly after the emergency trial proceedings.

In the video, the entrepreneur reveals the story behind the creation of a skincare line. The video was released through the official YouTube channel.

The video was delayed due to a trademark infringement lawsuit the clothing line brought against Bieber’s company.

However, at the hearing, Bieber’s lawyers submitted documents related to the video. Still, the judge found no reason why the clip should not be released.

In the clip, a Hollywood socialite said, ‘I always knew I wanted to create a brand under the name of Lord and create a world of Lord.’

She continued, ‘Rhode is my middle name and my mom’s middle name. To me it always sounded like it was going so nicely.’

Meanwhile, Mrs. Bieber’s glazed donut nails are taking over the social media platform. The trend went viral among her netizens after she shared her own ultimate nail combination on her TikTok.

Fans also started using the hashtag #haileybiebernails while testing out the model’s classic nail look.
