Mary Jane Thomas, wife of country music artist Hank Williams Jr., has died of rubble a day after plastic surgery.

Cause of death of Hank Williams Jr.’s wife revealed
The Florida coroner confirmed that Hank Williams Jr.’s wife, Mary Jane Thomas, died of collapsed lungs after plastic surgery.
The Palm Beach County coroner recorded Mary’s death as an accident. They also revealed that she died after being fatally injured during her cosmetic procedures.
Examiner noted that the 58-year-old former Hawaiian Tropic model underwent liposuction on her back, arms and stomach on March 21st. They also shared that Mary had a breast implant removed.
Nevertheless, the next day she was found unresponsive by a plastic surgeon in her hotel room at Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa.
After plastic surgery, Dr. Harold Bafitis claimed that when Mary went to her follow-up meeting, she was responsive and she was sitting upright on the bed.
However, Mary was immediately rushed to a nearby local hospital. She traveled from Nashville to Jupiter, Florida for her beauty procedures.
It was also announced that Mary died about an hour after she lost consciousness.
The relationship between Hank Williams Jr. and Mary Jane Thomas
Hank Williams Jr and Mary Jane Thomas first met at his concert in 1985. Five years later, they married in 1990.
The couple were parents of two children, daughter Catherine Williams Dunning and son Samuel Williams.
Hank and Mary went through tough times when they broke up in 2007. However, they found their way back in 2011 and started a relationship again.
Mary is the third wife of a country music star. He first married Gwen Yeargain in 1971, but filed for divorce in 1977. They have a son named Hank Williams III.
Hank married Becky White in 1977. Nevertheless, she confirmed her divorce in 1983. His former couple had two daughters, Holly and Hillary Williams. The two are building their careers in the music industry.
Hank and Mary were also the grandparents of their late daughter Katie’s children, Beau Weston Dunnings and Audrey Jane Dunnings, and Sam’s son Tennyson.
Katie died after losing control of her SUV in a car accident in Tennessee in 2020.
In a YouTube video after his sister’s death, Sam said, ‘I’ve been heartbroken since my dear Katie left home, so I quit. I don’t deserve this. This is a scary step, but I don’t know what else to do here.’
