Here’s everything you need to know.

Harry Styles’ Danish concert canceled after fatal shooting

Harry Styles was due to perform at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen on Sunday at 8pm local time as part of his highly anticipated Love On Tour world show.

But early that morning, a shooting took place at Field’s shopping mall, located on the southern outskirts of the city, less than a mile from the stadium.

Initially, the show was going to go ahead despite the shooting, with local officials suggesting to the organizers that it was okay to continue.

Nevertheless, the show was initially postponed and then canceled entirely when an announcer took the stage to deliver the news.

The concert organizer, Live Nation, made a statement regarding this.

They said, ‘Tonight’s concert with Harry Styles has been canceled at the order of the Danish police. We are all truly devastated by today’s events and we think with the victims and their families.’

“We are reviewing the possibility of future performances, and we hope to be able to provide direct information to ticket buyers as soon as possible,” he added.

Harry Styles ‘wounds’ over tragedy

Harry Styles expressed his feelings on social media platforms after the show was canceled in Denmark.

The singer from One Direction tweeted, “My heart aches with the people of Copenhagen. I love this city. People are so warm and full of love.’

“My heart aches for the victims, their families, and everyone who has been hurt,” he said.

The chart-top artist has since shared a message on Snapchat.

He said: ‘My team and I pray for everyone involved in the Copenhagen shopping mall shooting. I was shocked. Love H.’

On Sunday afternoon, before the event was canceled, the concert hall was already full of people who had come to the concert. However, they were asked to leave when police were known to escort them to the subway.

The 28-year-old star was due to do a Love On Tour show around the world in 2020, but was postponed in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The rescheduled tour began in Las Vegas last September, with Styles heading across the United States. His European tour began last month in Glasgow.
