The new villain in the Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragons could be worse than Joffrey or Ramsay Bolton.
Here’s everything you need to know.
House of the Dragon introduces a cute little toddler as a new antagonist.
In the most recent episode of House of the Dragon, we saw the introduction of King Viserys, his new wife Alicent Hightower, and their baby Aegon.
The third episode was skipped to time to celebrate the toddler’s second ‘name day’ or birthday.
Also, Rhaenyra is Aegon’s oldest half-sister. Although she is a baby now, she is expected to grow up to become an uncomfortable human being.
It is also suspected that a brutal civil war between Rhaenyra and Aegon will break out over who will succeed the King of the Iron Throne.
The series needs a few more jumps, with Aegon eventually aging. British actor Tom Glynn-Carney will be seen as a mature Aegon in an upcoming episode. Tom is 27 years old and is recognized for his work at Dunkirk.
Viserys also appears as Paddy Considine and Emily Carey as Alicent Hightower. On the other hand, Milly Alcock is considered Rhaenyra.

The third episode of House of the Dragon is titled ‘The Second of His Name’.
In the premiere episode of the series, we saw the shocking death of Queen Aemma. This included the king’s designation of Princess Rhaenyra as heir to the throne.
Meanwhile, the second episode of ‘The Thief Prince’ mainly focused on the king’s duty to remarry. Marriage to Alicent was announced in the same episode.
In the next episode, Raenira appears in a friendly manner.
Meanwhile, King Otto Hightower’s hand rejects his brother while discussing who the heir to the Iron Throne is.

According to Alicent’s father, the king sees Aegon as his successor and wants Rhaenyra to be his heir.
Brother Hightower on the other side says emphatically, ‘It’s up to you to let him see it, Hand.’
As the episode progresses, we see the king’s promise to Rhaenyra.
‘I was shaken at once,’ he said. But now I swear, according to your mother’s memory, you will not be replaced.’
