The episode begins with Halsted having a conflict with his wife, Haley Upton (Tracey Spiridacos).

But soon after the spouses were involved in saving the reputation of an Army veterinarian who helped in the robbery. Also, Halstead broke the law again to catch criminals without arresting the vet.

Nevertheless, Halstead decides to leave the intelligence service, realizing that he has broken the law again and is not changing for the better.

In his final moments, Halstead reunited with his wife and revealed that he would go to Bolivia as an army leader to track down cartel forces.

Besides, Voight (Jason Pilge) comes to the airport to say goodbye. He also offers Halstead any job he prefers.

But Halstead is problematic by saying that he wants to be like his former boss.

He said, ‘It’s like you always told me. I am not. You must not try.’

Nevertheless, the two shook hands with Halstead and left Chicago to start a new life.

Why did Jesse Lee Soffer leave Chicago PD?

It was confirmed in August that Jesse Lee Soffer would be leaving Chicago PD after 10 seasons. Also, he made his statement about his departure.

He said, ‘Thank you to the amazing fans for their unwavering support over the past 10 years.’

Soffer then thanked his actors and staff. He’s also ‘Dick Wolf and everyone at Wolf Entertainment, Peter Jankowski, Matt Olmstead, Derek Haas, Michael Brandt, Rick Eid, Gwen Sigan, NBC, Universal Television’

He also said, ‘Making an hour-long drama every week was a labor of love from everyone who touched the show. I’ve always been proud of my time as Det. J. Hallstead.’

Soffer also used his Twitter handle to process the unsubscribe.

‘It’s sad, but it’s true,’ he said. I want all the fans to know how grateful I am. You are the reason we do it! It was an honor. I love you all.’
