Janet Jackson loses audio during her performance at the Essence Festival.

Janet Jackson gained strength through her performances at the Essence Festival of Culture, despite brief technical issues.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Janet Jackson loses audio midway through concert at Essence Festival

Janet Jackson was one of the main headliners of the weekend series at the Essence Festival of Culture at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Several giants have performed in concerts comparable to Coachella.

According to Nola’s official site, Jackson nearly sold out 48,500 tickets on Saturday.

However, the Grammy-winning artist faced a brief technical glitch while outing. When she was performing on a Sunday night, it suddenly seemed that her mic was cut off.

Nevertheless, the 56-year-old singer managed the situation well and did not go unnoticed by the concert audience. The star continued performing on set for over an hour, following a small hiccup.

On stage, Jackson was side-by-side with four male dancers as he kicked off the show with the Feedback track. She has included her classic tracks such as What Have You Don For Me Lately, Control, Nasty, and That’s Way Love Goes.

Other technical deficiencies of the Festival

It should be noted that over the past few days, several performers have faced acoustic issues at the festival.

Few concert audiences complained about performances claiming that Halle and Chloe Bailey’s audio levels were turned off.

TMZ also reported that the Essence Festival was also caught up in controversy recently. Hulu subscribers were outraged, claiming that the network didn’t livestream every song from the event.

Nicki Minaj appeared as a headliner for the Friday series, but her set never aired on Hulu.

Friday Night host Angela Yee said the rapper’s actions didn’t go live on Hulu for an audience at home when ‘a situation beyond our control’ peaked.

Janet Jackson reveals plans to release new album

It’s been almost 7 years since Janet Jackson released a new album. However, she revealed that the singer plans to record her new music.

In an interview with Essence magazine, Jackson revealed that she would eventually release a new song, but prioritize being the mother of a 5-year-old son.

The Rhythm Nation singer said, ‘It’s something I absolutely love, but it’s still my job and my job. One day there will be music.’

โ€œThere are so many things I want to do, but the first thing I do is my mother,โ€ she added.
