Jannabi apologizes for remarks at rock festival

K-pop band Jannabi apologized for their suspicious behavior at this year’s Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Jannabi talks about their rude behavior at a rock festival.

On August 7th, Jannabi made a statement on her official Instagram account regarding rude remarks at the concert.

They wrote, “We couldn’t beat the excitement of the stage we dreamed of and the wonderful audience, causing inconvenience to other bands and the audience.”

He continued, ‘It wasn’t my intention, but I didn’t expect it to be seen that way. I will be careful not to say such nonsense in the future.’

The agency said, “I will do my best to repay you with better music and stage. Thank you for being with us!”

The band’s apology came after it was allegedly rude to the audience at a recent performance.

Also, from August 5th to August 7th, Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival was held.

On this day’s lineup, Crying Nut, Jaurim, Sesoneon, Nell, Vampire Weekend, Japanese Breakfast, Moguay, and Jannabi appeared.

However, some participants claimed that Jannabi Choi Jeong-hoon, Kim Do-hyung, and Jang Gyeong-jun made some rude remarks during their sub-title activities on August 6th.

Reportedly, the band spoke at the expense of American rock band Vampire Weekend, which was scheduled to make headlines shortly after Jannabi’s performance.

At the event, the members said, ‘We started as a Super Rookie of Pentaport in 2017. And we were the first act on the smallest stage. But little by little, we’ve come this far. The obstacle was not far away.’

“I don’t even know who the next band will be,” he said.

The artists also encouraged the crowd to leave before the next performance.

They’re probably like, ‘Go home now, folks. we will play [our song] ‘Come back,’ and we’ll leave.’
