The state of California charged Q’orianka Kilcher with workers’ compensation fraud earlier this year.
The California Department of Insurance then conducted an investigation that found that Kilcher had improperly collected more than $90,000 in disability benefits.
According to reports, Kilcher has been implementing the plan for nearly two years. It is said that it started with a neck injury during the production of ‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold’ in 2018.
She also requested treatment for her injuries. However, she later quit and she ‘did not respond to the insurance company handling her claims on behalf of the employer.’
Despite this, Kilcher appeared in a Yellowstone episode in 2019 and was known to have benefited from active activities, so officials paid special attention.
Meanwhile, according to a source, Kilcher suffered from a ‘lifetime 10% disability’ in a car accident about four years ago. They added that Kilcher was involved in an accident while filming on set.
Camille Vasquez and Steve Cook will also stand before the judges on behalf of Kilcher. It will be held in Los Angeles court next Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Kilcher will reprise her role as Angela Blue Thunder in the fifth season of Yellowstone. This series was created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. It also stars Kelly Reilly and Luke Grimes.
