Kanye West and his girlfriend Chaney Jones appear to have broken up. Kanye West, 44, and Jones, 24, were recently reported to have split after a vacation together in Japan, but it’s unclear who canceled it. An Instagram user spotted him at the cinema with another woman over the weekend. A spokesperson for Kanye West did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Why did Chaney Jones delete all her photos?
The model also appears to have deleted all photos taken with the rapper from her Instagram account, leaving only two pictures of herself. They first became romantically connected when West and Jones were photographed shopping together in Miami’s Bal Harbor in February. In March, he confirmed that they were dating by posting a picture of the two as a comment on Instagram along with a black love emoticon. In March she was seen sitting next to her court with him at a Los Angeles Lakers game, and in April he celebrated his recent Grammy Award. After Kanye West won Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, Jones said, “THE BIGGEST SO PROUD.”
The couple recently went on a trip
Meanwhile, the two went on a trip to Tokyo in May through their Instagram story. Fans shared photos of the two on social media as they strolled the streets of Shibuya near the famous Harajuku area. Later that month, she exhibited the identity of the rapper, who appears to be “Ye,” with a permanent tattoo on her left wrist, which he legally changed last year.
Sharing a selfie on Instagram Stories, Jones showed off her new tattooed look in a chrome two-piece and matching thigh-high boots. After a brief relationship that began on New Year’s Eve, Donda 2’s musician said he broke up with Julia Fox in February. “Julia and Kanye are still great friends and collaborators, but they are no longer together,” her spokesperson said in a statement on Valentine’s Day.
West is currently divorced from Kim Kardashian and married in Italy in May 2014. They have three children: North, 8, Chicago, 4, and Saint, 6, 3. Kardashian, 41, was legally singled out by a judge in March.
