Kanye West’s Christian preparatory school is set to reopen just hours after it declared closure amid the rapper’s continuing anti-Semitic behavior.
Here’s everything you need to know.
Kanye West’s school is back with ‘revenge’
On October 27, the employer of Donda Academy in Kanye West sent an email to parents of students, stating that the school would be closed until next year.
The message read, ‘First, I would like to express my gratitude to the family and scholars who have been with Donda Academy’.
‘However, at the discretion of our founders, Donda Academy will close on Thursday, October 27th, effective immediately for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year. There is no school tomorrow.’
The mail also claimed that the school would reopen next fall.
“We are aiming for a fresh start in September 2023, and we are confident that our scholarship students will continue to develop into creative innovators, courageous influencers, and leaders of the next generation of academics,” he added.
However, within hours of receiving it, parents and staff received a follow-up email with the new notice.
The content of the alleged e-mail was ‘Please join us in the worship service for the return to Donda Academy tomorrow morning’.
Also, with the help of my parents and the community, I came back after revenge!
The message reads, ‘The children of Donda will change the world. Sorry for the late email. See you soon.’
Kanye West opened a private Christian school called Donda Academy. Parents must sign an NDA for their child to attend. Price: $15,000 per year. The school is not accredited. Here’s a video of the kids from Donda school singing “Good Morning, Donda”.

More about Donda Academy in Kanye West
Donda Academy in Kanye West opened its sophomore year in August of this year. His late mother’s name, Donda West, was inspired by the name of the institution.
It is also located in the Simi Valley area of California and is known for its tuition of $15,000 per year. In addition, the student’s parent must sign a nondisclosure agreement.
Nevertheless, the school has been scrutinized since its inception. Most recently, a Jewish teacher named Tamar Andrews resigned from her job as an educational consultant at a school after a 45-year-old singer made anti-Semitic rants.
A tweet confirming Andrew’s departure from the agency was shared.
‘Doctor. Andrew immediately resigned from Donda Academy after Ye West’s tweet. Her last day was October 11, 2022, and she felt she could no longer support the organization.’
Kanye West is closing her non-accredited school, Donda Academy, TMZ reports.
