Katy Perry has been accused of being a hypocrite after tweeting about her frustration with the recent Roe v. Wade decision.

Over the holiday weekend, Katy Perry played the controversial Roe v. She shared her stance on the court’s ruling that overturned Wade’s case on her Twitter.
The 37-year-old singer refers to her hit song Firework, where ‘Baby you’re firework’ is 10, but an American woman has fewer rights than a real sparkler smh.
However, for publicly speaking supportive of Los Angeles Mayor Rick Caruso, he was criticized instead of praised.
Planned Parents, a nonprofit for reproductive health, wrote to the mayor in May of this year.
They noted that witnessing Caruso’s ‘long-standing support for anti-choice individuals and organizations’ was ‘deep anxiety’.
Netizens called him before the billionaire, saying he supported singer Roar, who was against the right to abortion.
The Grammy-nominated artist campaigned for Hillary Clinton in 2016 as an outspoken Democrat. She also performed at the inauguration of President Joe Biden in January 2021.

Fans were not impressed by Katy Perry’s tweet. They responded to her tweet supporting her singer’s choice by branding her as ‘her hypocrite’.

Oscar-winning actress Jessica Chastain has posted a mocking photo of her middle finger up.
She outlined the post with the caption: ‘Congratulations on ‘Independence Day’ from me and my reproductive rights.”
