Kelly Rowland recently sat down with WeHo to talk about her American Music Awards moments.
Rowland said the public did not have time to forgive Chris Brown for allegedly beating Rihanna.
She argued that everyone deserves a second chance. So we should treat Brown the same as anyone who makes mistakes.
Furthermore, a member of Destiny’s Child said we all need a healthy dose of humility, especially if we’re caught in the middle of transgression.
She also said that people should enjoy their interests rather than throw stones at them every time. She was most likely referring to the Chris Brown Rihanna affair that occurred nearly 14 years ago.
Beyond that, Rowland concluded that everyone deserves a chance to start over.
If you didn’t know, Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Many people have since accused him of assault.
