Reinhardt then denounced society’s unrealistic standards for women’s current problems with body image. “It hurts to think that hundreds of millions of people care so much about what our bodies look like. It’s a terribly broken system. Somewhere humanity has really screwed this up,” she wrote, then shared a photo of an ancient Greek statue of Aphrodite to show how the world’s ideals have changed over the years.

The actress concluded: And it is heartbreaking that many of us understand this feeling. Let’s keep talking. normalize it. Empathize with others. Show compassion and kindness.”

Reinhart has spoken out about his anxiety in the past, including when a fan called in February 2020. riverdale It was cast to portray a teenager with a “perfectly sculpted body.”
