Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning Host the 2022 CMA Awards in Nashville

No one expected the host duo would add an unexpected twist to the biggest night of country music. On “LIVE with Kelly and Ryan,” country music legend Luke Bryan made the surprising revelation that Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning will join as co-host for the 56th Annual CMA Awards this fall.

Bryan reassured viewers that while the former Denver Broncos icon didn’t appear to have been chosen as the co-host of the music awards show, Manning was a true country fan.

Singer Play It Again told Ryan Seacrest on Monday that Peyton was “a huge proponent of country music. People may not know this.”

According to Bryan, on a trip where football MVP invites his friends, Manning “always indescribably wraps his guitar.”

According to CMA CEO Sarah Trahern, “Country Music’s Biggest Night will undoubtedly live up to expectations this year.” “We are delighted to have two award-winning hosts conducting an evening celebrating the best of the best of country music! I can’t wait to see what plans Luke and Payton have come up with. I’m sure it will be incredibly unpredictable, lively and lively like both of them.”

The Dynamic Duo is a seasoned host by any standard. The CMA Awards are hosted by Bryan for the second time. Manning previously served as the host of the 2017 ESPY Awards.

According to Manning, the new position was “a tremendous honor” for him and his new co-host Bryan seemed to share those feelings as well.

Bryan said hello to Peyton. “Hey Peyton, I hope you are ready for the night of your life.”

The final list of nominees for the “56th Annual CMA Awards” will be released in the coming weeks.
