Yevgeny Progressin was executed with a sledgehammer.
Gray Zone, a Russian outlet, shared on its Telegram channel a graphic video of Yevgenny Nuzhin being beaten and killed for taking the Ukrainian side.
Nuzhin is a former prisoner of the Ryazan Penal Colony-3.
Nevertheless, the video shows a 55-year-old man tied to what appears to be a brick wall with adhesive film.
He said, ‘I am Yevgeny Anatolyevich Progressive, born in 1967.

He also said that he plans to implement a plan to switch to Ukraine on September 4 to seek refuge in Ukraine.
He claimed he was hit in the head by someone while walking on the streets of Kyiv on November 11, 2022. He was kidnapped and taken to an unknown location.
The man went further and said, ‘I woke up in this basement. Where I was told I was going to be tried.’
Moreover, behind the imprisoned man, an unidentified man in a combat uniform is seen wandering around. He suddenly strikes a large hammer next to Nuzhin’s face and neck. He continued to beat him several times until the video went dark.

On the other hand, the post was posted along with an article saying, “Those who understand know that a sledgehammer and a traitor are closely related.”
Beyond that, many believe the footage is linked to Wagner’s civilian military. The organization was founded by Yevgeny Prigozin, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Prigozhin explained the video, ‘I think we should call it this movie where dogs die of dog death.’
