Nick Cannon endorsed Kyrie Irving after being criticized for sharing links to anti-Semitic films on Twitter.
Here’s everything you need to know.
Nick Cannon defends Kyrie Irving’s blatant bias.
Nick Cannon joined Cannon and Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt for the 2 Hate or Not 2 Hate podcast interview.
Part of the debut episode, which took place earlier this week, was revealed on Instagram.
Moreover, in a short clip, the two appear to be talking about a five-game suspension for Kyrie Irving tweeting support for an anti-Semitic documentary.
In addition, Khan defended the Brooklyn Nets’ point guard. It should be noted that Cannon himself has also faced anti-Semitic issues in the past.
The 42-year-old said: ‘I can truly see that Kyrie Irving isn’t anti-Semitic.’
Greenblatt, on the other hand, said, ‘When you have a chance to say whether you’re anti-Semitic or not. I am not an anti-Semitic.’
“The movie is saying that white Jews invented the Holocaust and that 6 million Jews were not killed,” he added.
The ADL representative said, ‘I know that is not right because there is a huge historical record. Jews, when you dehumanize us in this way, we know what’s in the corner.’
Nick Cannon, Brooklyn Nets, Kyrie Irving criticize ‘humanization’
In a recent interview, Nick Cannon compared Kyrie Irving’s five-game suspension to the barbaric money-making practices of slavery.
He said, ‘So, these are parables that dehumanize the Jews.
However, Jonathan Greenblatt stopped him at this point and asked to explain the term ‘buck-breaking’.
So C annon said ‘The slave master will take the buck off the line. So all the other slaves will beat them and show them the power to set an example.’
‘This is what you have to do to stand in line. So when you look at the six things Kyrie has to do to get her job back, it’s inhumane.’
Meanwhile, Irving and the Nets joined forces with the Anti-Defamation League, promising $500,000 each. They will donate money to an organization that ‘ends intolerance’.
In addition, Irving is expected to return to the courts after undergoing sensitivity training along with discipline.
It is also known that Cannon is expecting their 11th and second child with partner Alyssa Scott.
