Nickelodeon is under hot water after a clip in which Ariana Grande is ‘sanctified’ comes back again.

A video of Ariana Grande being ‘sanctified’ while working as a child actress on Nickelodeon comes to mind again. The network is facing backlash on the Internet.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Video proves Ariana Grande was ‘sanctified’ as a teenager at Nickelodeon

Skarlett Akira first shared a video on her YouTube channel. Young Ariana Grande claims to have been ‘sanctified’ on Nickelodeon show

The snippet includes Grande sucking his toes and implicitly squeezing potatoes. In the video, she poured water on her chest and said, ‘Well, I’m thirsty’.

The 29-year-old chart-top pop superstar appeared as Valentine the Cat in Nickelodeon’s series from 2010 to 2013. She was between 16 and 19 at the time.

The video was shot for a part of the show known as Cat’s Random Thoughts. Grande’s character used to talk about her thoughts on random themes for parts.

Reportedly, the scene was written and directed by TV producer Dan Schneider.

The video comes after Grande’s co-star and teenage actress Jennette McCurdy wrote about the abuse she suffered when she was Nickelodeon style.

McCurdy recently published her new memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died. Here she revealed her experiences as a child actress.

She claimed that she was filmed in a bikini and received unwanted massages on set.

Fan reaction to the clip

Naturally, fans shouted about Nickelodeon and producer Dan Schneider being ‘sanctified’ while teenage Ariana Grande worked for them.

Fans were shocked by the reaction that they couldn’t control it just by looking at the montage through SNS.

One netizen said, ‘It’s really disgusting. As an adult watching this now, you can tell exactly what they were doing. I hope she talks about it. People will definitely support her. But understand exactly why she doesn’t know how she treats them.’

Another person argued, ‘How shameful these adults are.’

Someone added, ‘Arrest everyone involved.’

Moreover, one user pointed out that ‘it was crazy to escape from this’.

On the other hand, other netizens responded, ‘How could a rational adult be allowed to sit there and shoot?’

Another fan said, ‘It’s imitation of real fetish content. [Dan] It’s made for real kids to do hidden fetish content in an obvious place, and it’s disgusting that he too has to be tried.’

Another said: “This always makes me nauseous. Imagine a teenager ‘directing’ to do that as an adult.”
