Ricky Martin sues nephew for extortion

Ricky Martin is taking legal action against his nephew Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, who filed a lawsuit in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Wednesday.

Martin sued for $20 million and charged his nephew for extortion, malicious prosecution, abuse of rights and damages.

In court documents, the Latin pop icon claimed that his nephew was trying to ‘assassinate’ his reputation.

The document states that ‘Defendant Sanchez has applied for a protective order based on malice and hostility towards the plaintiff. Because of the simple fact that he did not respond to several messages.’

Sanchez also threatened and extorted that ‘the plaintiffs would continue their campaign to assassinate their reputation and integrity through false and malicious imputation, without financial compensation.’

Martin’s documents also claimed that Sanchez had leaked the 50-year-old singer’s phone number on social media. Sanchez also added that he created an Instagram account for one of his children.

Martin is the father of four children with husband Jwan Yosef. His twins Matteo and Valentino are 13 years old, daughter Lucia is 3 years old and son Ren is 2 years old.

The lawsuit also noted that Martin lost a multi-million dollar contract due to Sanchez’s allegations.

Ricky Martin’s nephew charged him with sexual abuse.

Ricky Martin and his 21-year-old nephew’s drama began in July of this year.

Dennis Yadiel Sanchez accused the singer of incest. He also claimed to have suffered domestic violence at the hands of Martin. As a result, the judge issued a restraining order for the artist ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’.

Moreover, Sanchez claimed that Martin bullied him for several months after their breakup.

Nevertheless, on July 21, Sanchez, through his attorney, requested permission to withdraw the case.

Nevertheless, after being fired, Martin shared the video on social media to cover the news.

In the video, he said, ‘It hurts so much. It shocked me and my family and friends. I would not want this to happen to anyone.’

He continued, “I hope that the people who say this nonsense will do their best and help them to start a new life full of love, truth and joy, and not hurt others. .’
