Reportedly, Matthew appears to have been attending an underground warehouse party, where he appeared to have physically confronted the suspects. It was also mentioned that both parties later took their argument into the streets.

But soon after, a black SUV broke through the crowd and ran towards Matthew and hit him.

The video included an additional person getting out of the vehicle and riding in a white Acura. Although the car seemed to drive far at first. But within the next few minutes they attacked Matthew again.

Matthew Lobos’ aunt Laura Valenzuela started a GoFundMe page to support teenage mothers.

Currently, this page has raised over $17,000 in fundraising.

Meanwhile, Matthew was a third-year student at Santee High School. He was also due to turn 18 in a few months.

Nonetheless, Valenzuela shared her thoughts on the shocking death of her nephew in an interview.

‘My beloved 17-year-old nephew tragically lost his life in the early hours of Sunday, August 21,’ she said. Just five months before his 18th birthday, he was caught in two unknown vehicles with intent to murder.’

Moreover, Matthew’s brother Nicholas Lobos claims his death was intentional.

He said, ‘It was intentional. He did it on purpose. Everything was intentional.’

Nicholas was one of the last people Matthew spoke to before he died. Reportedly, he was supposed to attend the same party, but their mother refused.
