Shaq returns this weekend as DJ Diesel in Tomorrowland, Belgium.

Shaq returned under the pseudonym DJ Diesel at the Tomorrowland Music Festival in Belgium on Sunday and made the crowd go wild as he did at the same event in 2019.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Shaq performs in Tomorrowland, Belgium

Real name Shaquille O’Neal set the tone for partygoers this weekend in Belgium’s Tomorrowland.

The former top professional basketball player performed at the festival as part of a European mini tour. He has already been on stage as DJ Diesel more than 5 times in less than a week.

The 50-year-old athlete made his first appearance at Ibiza’s nightclub on Wednesday and was spotted performing in two matches in Croatia.

Shaq hit the stage at the Dream Beach Festival the following Saturday. He then flew to Belgium for his first Tomorrowland performance since 2019.

Even so, the mogul made a fuss at the festival goers before even taking the stage. But photojournalist Adam Glyn took a picture to remember this moment forever.

Several video clips of Shaq from the festival are dominating social media platforms.

In one of those short films, Shaq can be seen jumping up and down with other rappers and dancing like there is no tomorrow.

Furthermore, later, the DJ who was performing at the time points to the 4th NBA championship and shouts ‘Let’s make a fuss for Shark’.

A few years ago in Tomorrowland in 2019, some hilarious videos of Shaq went viral when a 7-foot man was spotted shaking his head back and forth to the beat.

Shaq to perform at Sydney Macy’s in late August

Shaq was nicknamed DJ Diesel at the Marquee Club in Sydney on August 27th.

The retired NBA star’s rare DJ appearance is part of his upcoming Australian talk tour, An Evening with Shaquille O’Neal.

Shaq is also set to perform at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Thursday 25 August. He will also be seen having a musical moment at the Star Events Center in Sydney on Friday 26 August.

O’Neal began his journey as DJ Diesel in the 1980s while studying at Louisiana State University.

Shaq is also known as a renaissance man who has already done all kinds of business ventures such as voice acting, police work, TV commercials and festival curation.
