‘Star Wars’ star Colin Cantwell has died. He was 90 years old. Colin Cantwell’s partner Sierra Dall confirmed his death on Saturday at his Colorado home, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The X-Wing Starfighter, TIE Fighter, and Death Star prototypes were all designed by Colin Cantwell. He also participated in “2001: A Space Odyssey”, “Intimate Encounter of the Third Kind” and “Wargame”, along with other films.
