Sunset sales alumni Maya Vander is leaving the Netflix show after revealing that she suffered a miscarriage after 10 weeks.

Sunset actress Maya Vander on sale says she won’t be returning for the next season of the Netflix series.

The sudden announcement comes weeks after Vander revealed that she had a miscarriage six months after giving birth to a stillborn son.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Maya Vander does not appear in Selling Sunset Season 6.

Sources told TMZ that Maya Vander has stepped down from the Netflix show Selling Sunset and won’t appear for a sixth season.

According to the production company, the actress is leaving the reality show to focus on her family and her real estate business in Miami.

In addition, it is known that a reality star in his 40s changed his real estate license and joined the Compass Real Estate Company.

Still, Selling Sunset’s producers crossed their fingers about Vander’s return. But the constant traffic between Miami and Los Angeles is a lot of work for Vander to handle.

Vander was noticeably absent from the MTV Movie Awards when the rest of the cast attended an event in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Maya Vander’s Fertility Struggle

Maya Vander posted the shocking news on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, along with a picture of sleeping Aiden.

Selling Sunset’s alumni said, ‘I’ve had a really crazy week. Miscarriage 10 weeks after stillbirth. But my children and my husband are absolutely my blessings and I am so lucky to be their mother!’

She said, “They bring joy and happiness to my life. Hug and love the people you love. Don’t take it for granted!’

Vander is married to David Amar. She gave birth to her first child, Aiden, in April 2019. Her real estate agent further welcomed her now two-year-old daughter, Elle Madison, in May 2020.

In July 2021, Vander announced on an Instagram account that they were expecting their third baby together.

She posted a picture of the baby bump and said, ‘Here we go again. Baby number 3 will be our Christmas/Chunuka present!’.

Unfortunately, five months later she suffered a fatal stillbirth.

Vander shared a photo of a box of memories he received from the hospital on Instagram in December 2021.

‘I don’t want this from anyone,’ she said. What turned a regular weekly checkup into a nightmare I never imagined would happen to me? You will always be in my heart Baby Mason.’
