Earlier this year, Harmony’s father, Adam Montgomery, was detained by authorities. He was charged with a felony of assault in the second degree and charged with assaulting her daughter in late 2019.
Moreover, because police did not report Harmony’s disappearance on their own, they are now pointing to 31-year-old Adam as the prime suspect in the alleged murder.
Adam’s wife, Kayla Montgomery, was also detained by police on welfare fraud charges. She is accused of collecting distribution stamps using Harmony’s name.
Kayla is Harmony’s stepmother. She is said to have collected $1,500 food stamps from December 2019 to June 2021.
