Three promises to Kylian Mbappe to convince him to stay at PSG

Kylian Mbappe is set to remain at Paris Saint-Germain after a year of fighting, and three promises over the summer have helped convince him.

Over the past year, everyone from fans to journalists and experts has been expecting Mbappe to move to Real Madrid from PSG, whose contract expires this summer.

Earlier this week, he seemed to be announcing a move this weekend, but recently people around him have begun to change his mind.

On Saturday, reports began pouring in that the Frenchman had now signed a new contract and would remain at the Parc des Princes for the foreseeable future. Even trader Fabrizio Romano’s transfer guru/tap provided his famous ‘here we go’.

According to a Spanish reporter Sergio Santos Three other reported promises also helped shape the forward’s decision, with Mbappe promising Zinedine Zidane to become the club’s manager, Ousmane Dembele to be signed and Neymar to be sold.

Zidane’s appointment as manager of the French capital felt as inevitable as Mbappe’s trip to the Bernabeu.

The former Real Madrid manager has lost his job after leaving the Bernabeu for the second time at the end of last year, and has been linked with the French national team after the World Cup.

His record of winning three consecutive Champions League titles with Real will surely enthrall PSG who want to make a name for themselves in Europe.

Pochettino’s time at the club seems likely to come to an end, albeit only at the club, and it seems unlikely that a Ligue 1 title will be enough to sustain his job.

The Brazilian player became the most expensive player in the world when he moved from Barcelona in 2017, but his move didn’t have the huge success that both parties had hoped for.

With Lionel Messi and Mbappe next to him, balancing the offense has been difficult and there are questions as to who can afford his pay, but he appears to be the most likely out of the three to leave.

It would also make sense to replace the former Barcelona player with Ousmane Dembele’s current star from Camp Nou, especially Dembele’s contract due to expire.

The Frenchman will be a good fit for a project in Paris and his form improved admirably on Xavi’s team later in the season.

He had previously been linked to a move to the Premier League, but now he has received promises with his compatriots and a return to his homeland could be the order.

The era of Kylian Mbappe FC has begun…
