Tyres Gibson pays $10,000 per month for child support.
Tyrese Gibson was ordered to pay $10,690 a month in child support at a trial on Tuesday. It was held in front of Supreme Court Judge Kevin M. Farmer of Fulton County, Georgia.
According to an article in TMZ, Gibson is officially single after a judge approved a petition for divorce from his estranged wife, Samantha Lee Gibson.
Also, Tyres and Samantha are parents to their three-year-old daughter Soraya.
When Samantha first filed for divorce in September 2020, she initially requested $209,000 in child support.
However, the judge reduced the $46,000, arguing that Tyrese had paid Samantha’s car for two years. So Tyres now owes her $169,000 in a lump sum.
Tyres also sought physical and legal joint custody of Soraya at first hearing on Monday.
A 43-year-old actor said he didn’t want to pay $20,000 a month for child support, saying it was ‘unreasonably high’. He also asked for a final word about Soraya’s non-medical emergency.
Tyres further argued that Samantha was extravagant. Starr’s lawyers revealed that two years ago, Samantha’s haircut cost about $1,740.
They suggested that child support would actually pay for Samantha’s lifestyle.
Tanya Mitchell Graham, a lawyer for Tyres, said, “She asked for a lot of money for child support, but she’s been spending a lot of money on cosmetics. Is she asking for the money for her child or for herself?’
The relationship between Tyres Gibson and Samantha Lee Gibson

However, in December 2020, the couple announced their divorce.
Nevertheless, the former couple said in a separate article, “We will remain best friends and reliable co-parents.”
Meanwhile, the judge said, ‘This is not a punishment for you. Leave that money to the child!’ while reporting the amount of child support.
They even warned them not to curse each other in front of their daughter, whom they welcomed in October 2018.
