USFL Week 5: Tampa Bay Bandits Outlast Michigan Panthers


5 weeks USFL Friday kicked off the season with a fun matchup. Tampa Bay Bandits 1st Michigan Panthers.

The Bandits improved to 3-2 for the season and the Panthers fell 1-4.

Here are some of the best plays from Michigan and Tampa Bay.

Panda will attack first

The Panthers started a rough double-pass touchdown when QB Shea Patterson threw a 30-yard run on TE Ryan O’Malley after a throw to WR Joe Walker to put the Panthers on the board early.

Misfortune hits Michigan

The Panthers had trouble with their next possession. This is because Patterson was bounced off while trying to play in the red zone. He stayed on seven points until the fourth quarter.
