After her long talk show, Wendy Williams stated that she would not be returning to a TV show.
She said, ‘Excuse me. I’m 100% retired from ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ and I don’t want to be on TV other than guest hosting.’
Talking about her future plans, Williams confirmed that she was interested in starting her own podcast.
The TV star also said she could start a line of sneakers for people suffering from lymphedema, a disease she has been fighting over for years.
During the interview, Williams asked TMZ hosts Harvey Levin and Charles Latibeaudier if they were aware of lymphedema.
The personality had no trouble revealing her swollen feet on camera when the anchor reacted negatively.
She said, ‘Okay, you don’t know about lymphedema? Okay. I’ll show you. Okay, lymphedema is this. Do you see it here? Look at. No, look closely.’
The 57-year-old star adds that she can now feel only ‘5%’ of her feet.
Williams went on to say, ‘Can you see this? It’s up and down. I can only feel about 5% of my feet. Did you understand? In other words, I was usually in a wheelchair. I am not in a wheelchair. I got up.’
