In 2017, Alex Miller, a 31-year-old woman, advertised her unused bedroom on Craigslist and contacted Jed Creek about it two weeks later. She discovered that the man’s name was Jamison Bachman. Jade was a lawyer who needed a room because her family was sick and she had to take care of them herself, she said.
Miller signed a check for $800 and handed it to Jade after they agreed. The same thing happened when Jamison refused to pay, and Alex even got an injunction against him. However, he did not give up and continued to infringe on Alex’s property.
She reported him and he was caught. Jamison’s older brother, Harry, rescued him and asked to live with him, but was rejected by his wife Caroline. Later that day, Jamison murdered his brother. According to reports, Jed died in prison on December 8, 2017.

Cause of Jamison Bachman’s Death
Jamison Bachman murdered his brother Harry, stole Caroline’s car and American Express card, and drove several miles to a nearby hotel to reserve a room. At some distance from the crime scene, he booked a room with Caroline’s card and spent the night there.
The next morning, he drove the stolen vehicle to another location, abandoned it, and called Uber to pick it up. Then he returned to his hotel room and watched TV all day. Around 5pm, Bachman called 911 to report that his brother had died. He told the dispatcher that he had found Harry’s body in the bloodstains and believed Caroline had killed him. When police arrived at the scene, they found Harry’s body lying in blood with multiple stab wounds. Caroline was arrested and charged with murder.
Bachman pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to life in prison without parole. He is currently incarcerated at the California State Penitentiary in Sacramento. The cause of Jamison Bachman’s death has not been publicly disclosed. However, given that he is currently serving a life sentence, it is highly likely that he died naturally or was killed by another inmate.
He surrendered when the police found him. He was charged with first degree murder. On the other hand, the trial was postponed due to insufficient evidence. Sources say Jamison committed suicide in a cell in Montgomery County Prison.
