What happened to Lane Fernandes? Former ‘Teen Mom’ star dies at 28

In Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant, Malorie Beaver’s ex-boyfriend Lane Fernandez has died three weeks after she welcomed a son with his wife. He was then 28 years old.

Reign Fernandes’ widow Kylie Rose Fernandes confirmed the shocking news on Facebook Monday, expressing her condolences over her husband’s death.

“Without you, baby, I’m totally lost… I love you to the moon and beyond and I’m sure you’re watching us. I’ll never forget you.” She said, “You always It was that person,” he wrote.

“Nollin, Emerson, and I love you so much. You were an amazing father, dog dad and husband.” She said, referring to Lane’s daughter and newborn baby from her relationship with Mallory.

“You will always be my rock and best friend,” said Kylee Rose Fernandez. “More than anything else, honey, I miss you.”

Rachel Beaver used Instagram Stories to share this devastating message.

Malorie’s sister Rachel Beaver also shared the news of Lane Fernandez’s death on Instagram Stories.

“I can’t even express the sadness I feel right now,” she wrote over a photo of the MTV star and him and Malorie’s child Emerson swimming in the pool. Lane, you got kicked out of us too soon… Rest in peace.”

Mallory, 22, does not appear to have commented on Lane’s death on social media. She did not immediately respond to her request for comment.

The former couple had a tense co-parenting relationship.

Lane and Kylee are allegedly denied a visit to Emerson by Malorie.

“We asked Malorie to meet her and she blocked us,” Kylee told the newspaper in July 2021.

“She either ignores us or says, ‘Oh, Emerson doesn’t want to talk to you’ when she decides to unblock us.”

“Emmy has a father and stepmother who love her and truly love her,” she said. Malorie chooses to let her jealousy stop her children’s enjoyment. It’s not only sad, but it’s also a terrible level of parenting.”

In seasons 2 and 3 of “Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant” in 2020 and 2021, Malorie and Lane Fernandez tried to improve their relationship.

MTV, the network that created the reality television franchise, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The cause of Lane’s death is currently unknown.
