In the 2013 WNBA Draft, Diggins was picked 3rd overall by Tulsa Shock. Diggins-Smith was a four-year varsity basketball letter winner at Washington High School in South Bend, where the Panthers had a combined record of 102-7. Graduated as the third top scorer in Indiana history with 2,790 points averaging 25.9 points per game, Kisha Diggins-Smith took the Panthers to her state championship game and finished her career with two state wins. Diggins-Smith won the 2014 WNBA Most Valuable Player Award.
